Route 2.0

Finished a route 2.0 today (1.0 is published in the Russian version and doesn't include the Balkans as much).

Here's a route on a map and a list of cities which I plan to visit is below.

Feel free to join for a part of a trip - I will post later approximate schedul and it will be easier to estimate whether it is possible to travel together.

Saint-Petersburg - Riga - Kaunas - Warsaw - Wroclaw - Prague - Lintz - Venice - Triest - Pula - Split - Dubrovnik - Podgorica - Tirana - Thessaloniki - Belgrade - Budapest - Bratislava - Vienna - Krakow - Lublin - Minsk - Pskov - Saint-Petersburg

I plan to combine bicycle and buses/hitchhiking, and I already have tickets from Saint-Petersburg to Riga (for April, 26) and from Wroclaw to Prague (for May, 11). Thanks to Simpleexpress for their cool promotion - first 5 tickets on a bus for 3 euros (119 roubles, they haven't changed the price even though euro is much more expensive now, which is also sweet as I paid for the tickets in roubles).

Hi, my name is Maria and I'm an alco... nah, I'm a bike addict.

I have a dream... Well, a goal: doing a bike trip around Europe next year starting in spring.

I'm still not a pro, so I'm starting this blog to prepare, put my thoughts and plans in writing, and collect useful information. Later it will function as a travel diary.

I have one in Russian that I've been writing for about a month now, and decided that one in English should exist too, so I'll translate existing entries shortly.

I hope this information will be useful to all aspiring bike travellers, and interesting for experienced ones.
